It’s hump day….half the week still to go and you’re starting to feel the stress of you week. Come release the pressure of mental overload. Simply slip into our silent, still space and massage your mind and body with simple mindfulness movement on the mat and end with meditation listening to music with binaural beats that soothe the mind. At the end of this class you will feel cleansed and refreshed at the deepest levels. NO YOGA CLOTHES REQUIRED-can be done in work clothes.
This Mindful Meditation class offers both an experience of zen (total state of focus) with a splash of tonic (mixed with teaching of science behind meditation). The instructor uses mindfulness and other awareness and relaxation techniques to guide the mind of the group into a single-pointed center within. Gradually, participants find themselves entering an inner space of deep stillness and peace as the mind is guided into the brain frequency associated with meditation and higher sensory perception. 30 minutes includes 5-10 minutes education on science behind meditation, 10 minutes sitting in stillness, and closes with brief mindfulness reading.
