But since you came here, here’s the scientific value behind meditation in one sentence: the science shows that when you meditate you rewire your brain (literally, it’s called neuroplasticity) and this rewiring allows for slower thoughts and increased space between your thoughts, thereby allowing you the time to become aware of your thinking and to think differently, which builds new neural pathways in your brain.
